1. King Princess- Fantastic: I forgot how fantastic King Princess is until I listened to this song.. I swear to god that’s the only artist I’ve listened to all weekend. Since this song was made for tv show Arcane, it feels so cinematic

2. Ally Evenson- Throes: I love this entire album… the style is so unique but I love Throes especially. I’m a sucker for a good sapphic bop.

3. Daffo- Winter Hat: I saw Daffo open to Sir Chloe last winter an instantly became a huge fan. Their vice is so unique! As the world’s biggest fan of winter hats, I endorse this song.

Black Friday was this week and I’m sure you’ve even absolutely flooded with consumerism lately… so my last hung this week is to urge everyone to go through their closets and purge everything they don’t wear!! I just did this the other week and apparently so did Emma Chamberlain! I love how she mentioned that now her closet feel like a capsule wardrobe… there’s a color theme and everything just fits together

2. This is who was cast to play Ringo Starr in the upcoming Beatles film and I honestly don’t think they could’ve done better

4. We just got our first look at season 3 of Yellowjackets and it’s looking… interesting, to say the least.

The movie Notting Hill is my favorite rom com and I’ve definitely taken some inspiration from it for my music.

Any interesting/silly/fun recent tour anecdotes?

When I was on tour with Dogpark last week, my best friend and I stayed the night at an organic sheep farm in Oregon. It was amazing.

Describe your recent work with a color/mood/season

My recent work feels like dark blues and greens, and sounds like an ex Mormon girl who’s equally into Lorde and Fleetwood Mac.

Is there an artist you’ve seen live that blew you away?

Seeing The Japanese House in Salt Lake City in 2019 truly radicalized me forever. Amber Bain is an icon.

What are you listening to right now?

I’m listening to a lot of my friend’s music these days. Mia Lorelai and Kaytlin Numbers are on repeat :)

What song/lyric are you most proud of?

A recent line I’m stoked about is “I’m the should’ve been son of a western wave/I gave up the gun when I learned to behave”

What’s a lyric you think about often?

I think about all of the lyrics in Samia’s “Dream Song” all the time. Every line is so amazing.
