1. Jensen McRae- Massachusetts: Jensen is a mastermind songwriter and her viral song is FINALLY on stream! I loved the verses she teased on tiktok but I’ll never forget the first time I heard the bridge in the final song

2. Jelani Aryeh- The Sweater Club [album]: oh this genre of indie pop is SO back! This album feels very 2018 the 1975, COIN, Wallows, but is also it's own thing entirely. This is going on all my feel good pop playlists.

3. Kevin Atwater- Downers Grove (Reimagined): this reimagined album has features from some favorites like ella jane, jake minch, and Shallow Alcove. I think it's so fun when artists take an album I love and add something completely new to it.

In: sourdough pizza, gay people happy pride month, noise-canceling headphones, hearing health in general, while we're on the topic, frisbee , crocs, bonus points for jibbitz (i have a spam one) 

Out: my unhealthy relationship with hot temperatures (working on distress tolerance! yass), not knowing what a tattoo is until it's on your body (i have a daisy that i didn't know was a daisy; there have been far worse cases), ignoring thy needs , spotify lol, the deodorant-between-your-legs chafing hack, doesn't work, flat plates .... give me a plate bowl ... a plowl

i'm really into visible mending, darning, and upcycling in general right now! i started with some socks that had holes in them and eventually moved up to repairing holes in bigger items like sweaters and pants. my biggest hyperfixation during the height of quarantine in summer 2020 was sewing, and it's been really nice to learn ways to incorporate mending into a chaotic life where i usually don't have my sewing machine!

anything handmade!!! i love the play ball flats from double standard, flat brim hats in general (but Not snapbacks...and bonus points if it's a corduroy hat), all of magg's rags' creations, and every design from screenprinter @ emsbrynart on instagram (printed on secondhand items!!!).
