1. Lucy Dacus (with Hozier)- Bullseye: This is everything I dreamed of and more. Their voices blend so perfectly together. This is the most perfect breakup song. Definitely a favorite on the album.

2. Wallows- Hide It Away: I love an upbeat song with sad lyrics! I think this is perfect for the themes of this song— the struggle of masking one's true feelings. Genius! As usual.

3. Julien Baker, TORRES- Dirt: Lucy posted that this might be the best thing Julien has ever written and… yeah I might have to agree.

Outs: Socks that slide down my ankles when I walk, carbonated beverages, sleeping until 2pm, forgetting to take my vitamins

What’s your favorite hobby right now? What’s a hobby you want to get into this year? 🛹🧘‍♀️📷

I’ve gotten really into crocheting lately – I had picked it up in 5th grade but haven’t really had the time otherwise, I’m trying to make it a more frequent thing. A new hobby I would love to get into this year is drawing just to draw. Usually, when I’m drawing it's for the purpose of my cover art, but it's my new year's resolution to make space to draw just for me!

My brother and I often play guitar together when we’re performing back home, but because he’s in the fire academy right now, he can’t join me on this upcoming run! Because of that, I get to take his guitar on tour with me and play it myself, which I also used to track most of the recent project.

Describe your recent work by a color/season/mood/something interesting 🍂🌨️🌼

My most recent EP, ‘if i’m honest for once,’ I associate with the in-between season where fall is over, but it’s not completely freezing yet. Most of the songs feel very nostalgic and autumn coded to me.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? 🦸‍♀️⚡️🕸️

I think it would be really convenient if I could stop time at the snap of my fingers (for everybody else but me), so that I could sleep in a little longer, or take more time on a test, or collect my thoughts when having various conversations, or run home if I had forgotten something.

Is there an artist you’ve seen live that blew you away? 🪕🎫🎤

Seeing Ryan Beatty live earlier this year genuinely changed my life. I had the privilege of seeing him in a fairly small venue in Nashville for his ‘Calico’ album, so I was able to get super close. I mean just the way he performed, the energy between him and his musicians, and the respect from the audience was perfect.

Lately I’ve been stuck on Role Model’s Deluxe tracks, Christian Lee Hutson, Ryan Beatty, Phoebe Bridgers, and lots of Laura Marling.

What fashion pieces have you been into lately? 👗🎀🧢

I’ve been loving mixing metals and wearing excessive jewelry lately, collared shirts and button ups, fun colored pants, and anything involving patchwork or grandma patterns. I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair of overalls lately as well.

What song/lyric are you most proud of? 📓🪞💌

On the EP, my favorite song is most definitely ‘forgive.’ Maybe I have extreme recency bias, as it’s the newest song on the project, but I feel like its a weird feeling I’ve been trying to articulate for a very long time.The lyric “I’ve never felt much hell like the burn of my christian guilt, perpetual sin it kills, all my fire,” I am very proud of.
