a discovery playlist featuring weekly top 10 music releases
Djo - Delete Ya: Djo does it yet again with Delete Ya—a funky, warped fever dream of a song that feels like it belongs in both the past and the future! This song feels like it should be in a movie soundtrack to a neon-lit bar scene.
Gigi Perez - Chemistry: Gigi Perez is truly someone to keep your eye on right now. She delivers such pure, slow-burning intensity in Chemistry. I love the moody production and lingering vocals!
Julien Baker, TORRES - Tuesday: Julien Baker and TORRES absolutely wreck me (again) with Tuesday. Leave it to Julien and Torres to write such a beautiful song about religious trauma.

things that i’ve been super into lately that i need to share with you guys
This is the lesbian carabiner final boss… the pearl, the silver, the design? I’m obsessed truly— their watches and jewelry are all insanely sick as well.
These few warmer days have made me feel so ALIVE and want to dance all the time so here’s my super fun hyperpop playlist!
I came across this ceramics shop, Frisbee Ceramics, which makes such unique pieces. I love the terrazzo glaze and pattern of all the pieces… I think my kitchen dinnerware needs an upgrade asap.

What does life look like for you right now?
- Structured, slow, and cozy
Ins and outs for this month? 👑📅🫶
Ins: going to the library, reality tv, eating apples whole, getting dressed every day, Nicolas Cage, Japanese sweet potatoes
Outs: caffeine for breakfast, TikToks about finding your personal style, “Old Money Aesthetic”, texting and driving
What’s your favorite hobby right now? What’s a hobby you want to get into this year?🛹🧘♀️📷
I’m getting back into reading and journaling again and it feels really good. I think nine year old homeschooled Alix would be very proud. I’m scared to even say this out loud but I think I need to start running...I love walking but I know that I need to do more things that get my heart rate up and pilates classes intimidate me. I would also accept getting back into volleyball as option #2 so if anyone in LA is trying to join a league HM
Any new years resolutions? 🎉🍾🪩
Get at least one more tattoo, keep up with reading, lower my screen time (for real this time), eat more protein
Piece of media that’s influenced you 🎼🖼️🎬
John Carney’s filmography and old animated Disney movies
Any interesting/silly/fun recent tour anecdotes?🎆🤪🙈
My band joined me for the last week of tour with Sarah Kinsley in September; somehow in that week we were able to watch three full seasons of Attack on Titan. We’re also huge Buc-ee’s fans as every touring musician is, but we were unaware of the billboards that start popping up when you get close to one...”Beaver Fit Check” and “High Key Best Fudge” were among the hits.
Describe your recent work by a color/season/mood/something interesting🍂🌨️🌼
Baby blue, sentimental, springtime, green tea
Is there an artist you’ve seen live that blew you away? 🪕🎫🎤
Remi Wolf. Admittedly when I saw her in early 2022 I hadn’t done a proper deep dive into all of her music. Seeing her/hearing her songs live as my first real exposure to them was absolutely incredible; she pours everything she has into every performance and is a really underrated lyricist I think. After that show, for the rest of tour we ended every night listening to “Street You Live On” in the van; we called it our end credits song.
What are you listening to right now? 🎧📻💿
Sex Week, The Weepies, lots of hands, No Doubt, Katie Gavin, Cameron Schmidt, old Katy Perry, and the Waitress soundtrack
What fashion pieces have you been into lately? 👗🎀🧢
Vintage jeans and tees forever bb. Also going through a Julia Roberts obsession phase right now; there’s this one suit she wears in Notting Hill and a couple pairs of sunglasses in My Best Friend’s Wedding that are to die for. Her street style in the 90s is among my favorites I see come up on Pinterest.
What song/lyric are you most proud of? 📓🪞💌
There’s a song on my upcoming EP called “Prank Call” that I really love.
What’s a lyric you think about often?📃🏹💭
“The most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway is that it’s you, and that you’re standing in the doorway” from “Going to Georgia” by The Mountain Goats.
What’s your dream collab?🫂🔮🫧
Imogen Heap, The Killers, The Japanese House, Flyte, Mk.gee
Top 4 favorite films?🎞️⭐️🎥
500 Days of Summer, Peter Pan (2003), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sing Street
