2. Erin Lecount - Silver Spoon: I had the demo on repeat before this release, and somehow, the final version hits even harder. Erin’s voice is ethereal yet cathartic, soft yet gut-wrenching. It’s a ballad laced with quiet rage, the weight of inheritance, and release you didn’t know you needed. “We’re the product of love that we do not receive” is an insane line.

b0dies, the solo project of Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Kaylee Stenberg, blends melancholic storytelling with dynamic, immersive arrangements. Known for her work with artists like Ethel Cain, Phoebe Bridgers, and Fenne Lily, she’s become a sought-after musician in the indie scene. Co-producing her music with Evan Chambers, she is set to release her second EP later this year.

My favorite hobby right now is MAPS(aesthetically and intellectually)! I’ve been hunting for vintage maps and making big collages. Also, just into learning geography; memorizing all the countries and flags. Exciting stuff!

Fashion pieces you’re interested in lately? 👜👡🧥

I’ve recently discovered the art of layering beanies on trucker caps. Very Pete Wentz circa 2006. Also, those shell necklaces that make you look like a 10 year old boy on vacation.

Piece of media that’s influenced you 🎼🖼️🎬

My ex girlfriend turned me on to the films of Mike Mills recently. The dialogue is excellent, so I find myself writing down phrases then kind of mashing them up and turning them into lyrics.

What's your favorite winter activity? Winter snack/treat??🎆🤪🙈

I don’t live in a place with much seasonal change, and I’m not an inherently festive guy when it comes to ‘the holidays,’ but being able to take a little stroll in the middle of the day is a winter delicacy here in Los Angeles.

Describe your recent work by a color/season/mood/something interesting🍂🌨️🌼

Beer buzzed evenings in late summer… you can almost taste autumn, but not quite. 

Is there an artist you’ve seen live that blew you away? 🪕🎫🎤

Many times, but the most impactful would have to be St. Vincent and David Byrne back in 2013. Life changing.

What are you listening to right now?🎧📻💿

This is Lorelei, The Goin’ Nowheres, Micah Preite, ML Buch, Jemima Coulter, and Lily Konigsberg. SO much good DIY music is coming out of New York right now and I’m really excited about all of that too.

What song/lyric are you most proud of? 📓🪞💌

Definitely ‘fraction of time.’ It feels the most true to me as an artist. A lot of the parts on the recording are from my original demo. I did most of the production moves on this one. Specifically, the lyric “Everything’s annoying at least to you, cause your boring, it’s a summer night and we’re all stuck inside, everything’s a lot, but it’s really all we’ve got, I hope that all your frightening can turn into exciting things” I am very proud of.

What’s your dream collab?🫂🔮🫧

Sometimes I have a hard time fully taking this in, but I’ve really gotten the chance to collaborate with so many of my favorite artists already. I have toured and/or recorded with a lot of artists I was truly a fan of before working with them; Ethel Cain, Christian Lee Hutson, Charlie Hickey, and Fenne Lily just to name a few. I love making my own music, but I also really love playing with and supporting these artists. Getting to take part in elevating their art is something that brings me immense joy. It also fuels deep inspiration for my own work. I’ve learned so much from collaboration and friendship with these lovely people.

Hayden, for example, is simply the real deal. Watching her process and the way she moves through the world is deeply inspiring. When I walked into my first rehearsal, she was sitting in the corner, hand-laminating the artist credential badges that she designed herself. She handles her vast creative universe with an honest and thoughtful conviction, nurturing every vessel with immense care. It’s really amazing, and I think quite rare
