1. Lucy Dacus- Bus Back To Richmond: Ok surprise Lucy song drop? She said these songs were first written for Forever Is a Feeling but didn’t end up making the cut, but I’m so excited she ended up releasing them anyway.

2. Ethel Cain- Dust Bowl: Officially off Soundcloud and on Spotify! Definitely my most anticipated (if not favorite) song off the new album. I’m super stoked to take more time listening to this project and am so excited this song is officially ours!

3. Samia- Pool (Stripped): The original version is one of my top played songs on Spotify so you best believe I’ve been stoked about this release! This one feels so nostalgic in such a different way– like a warm bittersweet hug rather than a drowning cool. 

1. Wishbone is out Friday, and so is the Caramel music video.

2. Florence + The Machine is teasing a return!?!?

3. Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas singing this is me together… its healing me honestly.

5. Lucy’s surprise appearance at Las Culturistas Culture awards reminded me how breathtaking she is.

things that i’ve been super into lately that i need to share with you guys

1. I’m super into asymmetrical skirts and shirts right now (probably inspired by Ms Clairo herself). I especially love this one from Lisa Says Gah!

2. I recently rewatched Call My By Your Name (one of my favorite films and the perfect summer movie). The vibes are just so perfect– here’s a playlist that tried to recreate that feeling. 

3. Once again reminding you all that there are plenty of companies that rent festival clothes if you don’t want to buy something you won’t wear often! One of these options is Rent the Runway– the OG clothing rental company that has over 800 brands to pick from!

movies, tv shows, and actors on my radar right now

1. I saw Weapons this weekend, and let me tell ya. It was crazy. I’m a huge thriller/scary movie fan, and to me this was a perfect blend of both genres. It did a great job building suspense and the alternating POVs throughout the movie gave so much context about each character and the telling of the events. I highly recommend seeing this in theaters. 

2. The very next morning I saw Fantastic 4, which was a fun watch! Joseph Quinn really did steal my heart, but not more than the lovely little robot H.E.R.B.I.E. 

3. I recently rewatched Freaky Friday for the first time in probably a decade, in honor of the sequel coming out (which I have yet to watch, but am growing increasingly intrigued by). I didn’t realize how formative this movie was to me as a kid– Lindsey Lohan’s band was THE blueprint.
