  1. Sloppy Jane, Phoebe Bridgers - Claw Machine: the movie I Saw the TV Glow is finally here and the soundtrack is KILLER. Naturally the Phoebe one is my favorite, it’s haunting and so beautiful.

  2. Beabadoobee - Take A Bite: This sounds like a song in an indie coming of age movie that the manic pixie dream girl sings in her really cool band at a house show and I am so here for it.

  3. Charli XCX - 360: I am turning into a full blown pop girl and this is the perfect time for it with all the pop icons coming out with insane bops lately. This song is making me SO excited for the BRAT album.

BOTW: FLIPTURN

flipturn makes indie music for endless summers, sun-streaked days, and introspective nights. It's a cinematic sound rooted not only in the Florida towns where the musicians first banded together as teenagers, but also in the anthemic live show that's taken flipturn from coast to coast.

Ins: Strawberry uncrustables, cat cafes, anything Zendaya related, Olipops, sparkling americanos 

Outs: Tequila shots, paying extra for oat milk, single ply toilet paper

What’s your favorite hobby right now? What’s a hobby you want to get into this year?🛹🧘‍♀️📷

Tristan — My favorite hobby is rock climbing (indoor & outdoor), especially while we’re on tour! I’ve gotten the opportunity to climb at some pretty cool places around the country with friends and also with people I’ve never met.

Fashion pieces you’re interested in lately? 👜👡🧥

Mitch — I really like Brain Dead’s stuff, I’d buy more of it if I had money lol

Piece of media that’s influenced you 🎼🖼️🎬

Mitch — Watching live sets of bands on YouTube always inspires cool ideas for creativity. I recently watched a Rufus du Sol set where they played at Joshua Tree and loved how they set up their stage design 

Any interesting/silly/fun recent tour anecdotes? 🎆🤪🙈

Mitch — Banana Boat by Harry Belatonte is the tour theme song. We sing it every waking minute— it’s been stuck in my head for 4 and a half weeks. We all play a game called “Duck Game” on the bus in the back lounge and literally nobody can beat me at it— I am irrationally good at this game. I am basically the equivalent of Tom Brady at Duck Game.

What are you listening to right now? 🎧📻💿

Devon — Recently the song “Die Young” by Sylvan Esso has had a chokehold on me. Also the album “Starkisser” by Sucre. Really cool synths & production with super dreamy vocals.

Describe your recent work by a color/season/mood 🍂🌨️🌼

Tristan — Late spring, when the grass is lush and it’s not as hot as summertime.

Is there an artist you’ve seen live that blew you away?🪕🎫🎤

Mitch — Vulfpeck blew my mind, they were insane and I’ve been a fan of them for a while. I saw Dogs in a Pile and Goose at Electric Forest last year, and I loved both of their sets. Tame Impala in the rain at Hangout Music Festival was also an insane experience.

What song/lyric are you most proud of? 📓🪞💌

Dillon — From our song “Weepy Woman” :  “You understood it, patient like a practice, taking me like LSD and thinking it was magic. Cuz you’re willing to sit and see what happens, waiting just to see something you haven’t”

Madeline — I’m a huge fan of the band Alvvays, so their lyrics are constantly in my head. Here’s my favorite lyrics from their song “Not My Baby”:

Devon — If Prince was still with us, getting to collaborate with him in any capacity would be an absolute dream.

  1. I saw the trailer for the upcoming movie Blink Twice and am so intrigued… it feels like a mix between Saltburn, Get Out, and Don’t Worry Darling which I’m kinda here for

  2. The Bear season three is coming june 27!!

  3. Shrek is dominating charts on netflix right now after announcing their 5th movie
