1. Clairo- Thank you: This album is so incredibly introspective, reflective, personal, this song especially. It talks about the complexities of love in the midst of self-discovery and growth and feels so bittersweet.

2. Clairo- Juna: One of the cutest love songs I’ve heard in a sec… The verse 2 “you make me wanna”s are adorable. I love how intimate this feels.

3. Clairo- Pier 4: One thing about me is I LOVE an outro and this one did not disappoint. “And if you’re walking home along / You’ll find a reason, you’ll just chalk it up / To being different, being young / And wonder why no one knew you at all”

1. A queer movie from the 90’s, The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love, was just added to Netflix so naturally I had to watch and… this is the most wholesome, chaotic, lovely gay movie I’ve ever seen. It also has a happy ending (thank god) which feels kinda wild for it being made in 1995

2. This trailer for Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield’s upcoming movie is EVERYTHING to me

3. I just found out that one of my favorite book series, The Thursday Murder Club is being make into a movie! These books follow a retirement home friend group as they try and solve murders in their city and it’s genuinely one of the most wholesome stories I’ve ever heard. The cast is STACKED and it’s being directed by the same person who did Harry Potter so you know it’s gonna be good…

This BK local band Boyscout Marie. I met another band on the train back to my place after a drunken steak dinner for 1 and kind of invited myself to their gig, boyscout marie played second and I was in awe of the entire set. The singer sounded like a siren. (The mermaid kind) 

What song/lyric are you most proud of? 📓🪞💌

My favorite song of mine right now is one that will be on my debut album. The songs called time of our lives and my fav lyric from it is the opening line “skip around, traveling vice to vice- feet kicking round, you sat me in the big chair tonight” also the line “I feel pretty in this town, who will I let spin me out” :)
