a discovery playlist featuring weekly top 10 music releases
Stella Donnelly- Laying Low: If you’re not on the Stella Donnelly train you need to check her out asap. This might be my favorite of hers yet.
Annie DiRusso- Hudson Line: Annie can do absolutely no wrong and while I love her rock jams I especially love when she writes a raw, stripped down song. Her voice carries so much emotion it hits every time.
Baby Nova- Death Wish: Maybe This song has more of a twang than her usual stuff and I’m kinda into it– giving Kacey Musgraves or Noah Cyrus?? Such a beautiful song makes me feel like I’m floating

BOTW: ANNABELLE DINDA

Here’s a look at Annabelle’s favorite music lately, meme’s and the like:
ALL THINGS MUSIC
Cécile McLorin Salvant, June McDoom, and Kate Davis — “Take This Stone” When you recommend this song to one person, they are going to recommend it to three more people, it’s inevitable.
Fontaines D.C. — “Sunny”
Gavin DeGraw — “I Don’t Want to Be” I’ve never even SEEN One Tree Hill, but I’m so serious. Close your eyes and listen to this song and try to not get absolutely down into the beat, I dare you. Gavin DeGraw says he came from “the crust of creation” and that’s poetry and I believe him.
ALL THINGS INTERNET
This is an instagram post my friend Jake made (we’ve never met, but I think we should) that I really loved:
ALL THINGS STYLE
I have the fashion sense of a 3rd grade boy, but here is my attempt of the style section of these questions:
Scarves. I love scarves. I don’t have a link but if you see someone wearing a scarf, odds are I love it.
Wearing boots under jeans — this is new for me, just unlocked. It’s not new to anyone, I know. But it’s new to me.
These TEVA camp shoes that make me want to touch mulch and breath.
ALL THINGS REEL
The Vampire Diaries because I love flare jeans, intrigue, and hunks on TV
It Ends With Us because I love bad wigs, controversy, and skipping through movies when bored
Now You See Me: Now You Don't because I love magic tricks, Woody Harrelson, and whichever wardrobe designer KEEPS putting Woody Harrelson in his fun little hat!
SONG LYRIC OF THE DAY
My lyric of the day is the same everyday and it’s “nothing’s gonna change my world,” from “Across the Universe” by the Beatles. I mean. Come on.
As you can see, I have many favorite things, but none of them beat my favorite thing of all: talking about myself. I hope your December is cold or warm or goldilocks or however you like it. Thanks for hanging!
Sincerely,
Annabelle
