1. My fyp right now is full of Cool Girl Gift Guides but this one takes the cake for sure! I’m obsessed with the nail polish, candles, and soap— such luxurious takes on everyday staples. 

2. Seasonal depression anyone? Here’s my playlist for when the air turns chilly and daylight savings becomes your enemy. 

3. My partner and I were invited to a bird themed halloween party, so naturally we dressed as one of my favorite movie Ladybird! Accidentally our second year being a Saoise Ronan/Timothee Chalamet duo…

1. Lately I can’t stop listening to my friend Courtney Marie Andrews new song, “Keeper”.

2. Also have had Cate le Bon’s new record Michelangelo Dying on repeat for a while, the song “Is It Worth It (Happy Birthday)?” is my favorite.

1. So my bandmate Henry is a lover of animals and always shows me the funniest animal video content, particularly the instagram account @monkeyproboscis. These are monkeys with extremely expressive voices (kinda sound like men from Brooklyn) and large floppy noses… I didn’t know they existed til recently and their existence affirms the wonders of the universe and that nature has a sense of humor.

1. On this tour, I have been wearing a lot of jewelry by @somepinkpetal. They reached out a few months ago and sweetly sent me some pieces in the mail. I love this silver jagged pendant in particular that has mother of pearl in the center.

1. Ok so my new favorite TV show is definitely The Chair Company, made by the incredibly hilarious Tim Robinson.

2. Also weirdly I’ve been watching for the first time lately the early aughts reality show Deadliest Catch. It’s so hardcore and insane how those fishermen live. Somehow it’s as stressful as it is mesmerizing and it kinda helps me falls asleep.

SONG LYRIC OF THE DAY

The song I mentioned above, “Keeper”, by Courtney Marie Andrews contains a great line in the chorus. She sings:

“Cause I'm a keeper of your heart

I'm a keeper of your secrets

I'm a keeper in the dark

I keep it all together until it falls apart

I'm a keeper”

The whole thing is so good but the line “keeper in the dark” particularly stands out to me in context as kind of sexy and deep at the same time. 

Alright, I’m jumping back on the driver’s seat right now. We’re on our way to Houston. And it’s Halloween! I keep forgetting. Happy Halloween Besties.
